Custom and personalised orders

I am delighted to help you to find the ideal item for you or for someone you love, so if I can custom-make one of my items for you, to make it unique to you, send me a message.

* If you have a specific date or deadline, please let me know - it is important we both take into account the time to make your item.

* Please make sure you allow for any delays that may be encountered in postage and delivery, especially for international orders. If you would like express/first class delivery let me know.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every order is carefully wrapped. I use shredded paper for extra protection (watch out for a paper storm when you open the parcel!) To reduce the impact of plastics on the environment, only very delicate items that are glass and/or breakable will also be wrapped in bubblewrap for extra security.

If you would like your order to be gift wrapped, with a note from you to the recipient, please let me know.

In the interests of the environment, where possible I recycle packaging.

Postage and delivery times

FLAT RATE SHIPPING for multiple items.
For UK buyers, I generally use Royal Mail second class & signed for service. Delivery varies a little but is usually within a few days.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: I post to Canada, USA and Australia and am happy to quote for any other country. Again, I use Royal Mail's International Tracked service - they claim to take between 5 - 7 days but experience has taught me that delivery can actually take as long as three weeks, if not longer. I appreciate how frustrating this is for my customers but sadly there is nothing I can do to help once the item has been posted. Local conditions and customs all play their part in delaying matters.

Colours may appear slightly different because of differences with computer monitors, tablets and mobile phones

Incorrect address

I can only ship to the address you provide me on Etsy. PLEASE check your address and make sure it is correct. If I ship to a wrong address that you provided, I do not refund, but of course I will do everything I can to make sure you get your item.
**If the item makes it back to me, and you wish the item to be re-sent to you, you will be liable for the additional postage.
**If the item makes it back to me and you do not want it re-sent, I will only refund the cost of the item.

Postage delays and losses

At certain times of the year, such as Christmas, postage delays are common - please bear this in mind when ordering and allow plenty of time so we can both be sure your parcel reaches you safely.

** Is it lost? An overdue parcel is an unhappy situation for both of us. I will do everything I can to help and make sure you are happy with your purchase - which may not actually be lost but stuck in the system somewhere! (This particularly the case with USA Customs in Chicago at peak times of the year!)

When do I pay for my order?

For all orders, including custom orders, payment is required before the item can be made and sent.
